Nevoid Vertical Growth (nevoid)

GENERAL INDEX

c14t3P1: The vertical growth is represented. The pattern is nevoid (it is organoid with variation in nesting patterns at levels). The nests of cells are loosely spaced in a delicate (nevus-like) matix. Near the dermal-epidermal interface, the degree of dysplasia is moderately severe. The lesion is stratified as to degree of dysplasia with the more atypical cells near the dermal-epidermal interface. Lymphoid infiltrates are spotty; they mostly are confined to the advancing margin of the lesion. Some of the melanocytic cells extend into the reticular dermis. This is a nevoid minimal deviation melanoma.
