Fig. c1t3D1: In the work by Ozzello, et al, cells of “fibroxanthomatous” lesions and malignant “histiocytic” lesions  were cultured. The explants contained histiocytes and fibroblasts. One of the malignant lesions, in retrospect, would have been best characterized as a malignant lymphoma. The cells of the explant were ubiquitous cells of the sample.

Fig. c1t3D2: In the fanciful transition from histiocyte to fibroblast, a transition form was identified.
